I apparently offended a lot of people with it. One older white lady didn’t like the angry black man yelling at her, and a vegan didn’t like that Mr. T. pitied her because she wouldn’t eat meat.
That’s a true story.

The Dali sign was of course done with lots of drips from my drippy paint markers.
I got a lot of high fives that day.
I remember working kind of hard on this one trying to create subtle lighting with like 4 colors worth of markers.
Not the best art wise, but still kind of funny.. At the time when they got these huge signs, nobody was doing art on them. They would just write what the special was, and roll it on the street. These became so popular and weird that I see them everywhere now. I’m a trendsetter, a Wholefoods trendsetter! Do I get an organic cookie?
I’m going to claim that I was the best Wholefoods signmaker they ever had.
YEAH, I SAID IT.
Again, paint makers, the most difficult runny pain in the ass markers invented.

Any ways, here’s my Andy signage. It was interactive. You could flip the sign up in the middle to see all the week’s deals. Also, all the stuff around his stenciled head was torn up flyers from that week. These were all done with the typical paint marker signmaker equipment.
